Course Description: Rescue Robot is an engaging 8-lesson course designed for students to explore the fundamentals of coding and programming using map and arrow-based instructions. In this course, students will dive into the exciting world of programming while learning how to direct and navigate a rescue robot car through various challenges and mazes.
Throughout the course, students will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills as they apply coding concepts to guide the robot car through different paths, obstacles, and objectives. By utilizing map-based programming, students will gain hands-on experience with sequencing, loops, conditional statements, and other essential programming principles.
With a combination of interactive lessons, hands-on activities, and collaborative projects, students will not only strengthen their computational thinking abilities but also enhance their teamwork and communication skills.
By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation in coding concepts and be able to design and execute their own programs using maps and arrows.
